ABOUT THE RELEASE
SCORPIO is the debut EP from experimental Pop Artist Bebe Huxley. Written and produced with Vancouver electronic composer Vincent Parker, Scorpio fills a deep hunger for pop with writhing electronic intensity. With dramatic vocal ability that shifts from punching rock to soaring angelic whisper notes, Bebe goes on emotional quest for rebirth from female subservience. Pop lovers of Kate Bush, Grimes, No Doubt, Peaches, Gaga, and Prince will go nuts for Bebe's lush vocals, vivid lyrics and heavy dance production that could only come out of a voracious Scorpio like Bebe Huxley.
The EP release is accompanied by a full throttle pop odyssey video, directed by Xavier Hamel with creative direction by Love Bailey of The Slather Factory queer arts collective.
"I am a queer, sensitive, viscous, self-destructive and sincere Scorpio to the bone. My music is about dying and being reborn into the next version of myself that will know more, love better, and fight harder than the past of my many broken shells."
"Bebe Huxley is one of the most important LGBTQ artists to watch right now." -Out Magazine
