"Bebe Huxley’s videos are like mini-movies. The visuals are breathtaking, abstract, and also very dark. Their music and videos are reflective of their ongoing journey as it relates to gender. Bebe’s latest video, “Darkside,” is a representation of how they navigate and merge the feminine and masculine. It’s a celebration of gender and the journey Bebe’s taken to live authentically." -BITCH MEDIA

THE DEBUT EP
RELEASING OCTOBER 23, 2017
Scorpion Season is the debut EP from experimental Pop Artist Bebe Huxley. Created with electronic composer Vincent Parker, the album was first sketched over the course of 10 days in the forrest of Vancouver Island in 2016. The album was completed virtually in Vancouver (Vincent's home) and Bebe's studio in Los Angeles, where she recorded and mixed her own vocals late into the night. The album features Bebe's obsessive lyrics and dynamic vocal range that quenches a deep thirst for pop on an emotional quest for rebirth.
Bebe Huxley is a singer, songwriter, and 29 year old Scorpio based in Los Angeles. 2017 will see Bebe premiering her debut EP SCORPION SEASON with four signature Pop Fantasy videos. The album features production by Vancouver based artist Vincent Parker, and was recorded and mixed by Bebe herself late in the night in her Los Angeles studio. Bebe is a member of The Slather Factory, a queer arts collective based at the Savage Ranch in Temecula, premiering their first film release "Slather it Up" at Outfest 2017.
Born an only child to New York Jews in the suburbs of L.A, Bebe Huxley is a graduate from UC Berkeley with degrees in Theater, Dance and Sociology. From 2013-2016 Bebe was a resident at High Fantasy, an underground music and drag weekly at the historic gay bar Aunt Charlie’s Lounge in San Francisco, the alma matter of many queer luminaries including Seth Bogart, boychild, Dia Dear, Brontez Purnell, Myles Cooper, and Alexis Penney. Bebe notably performs with her biological mother and drag daughter Babs, now also a member of The Slather Factory.
Through her prolific underground presence, Bebe has developed a gift for pop spectacle, drawing from ballet, broadway, soap operas, surrealism, psychedelia, the suburbs, hard femmes, gay daddies, and gonzo--for an electrifying live performance with devastating vocal ability that shifts from punching rock to soaring angelic whisper notes. Pop lovers of Kate Bush, Grimes, No Doubt, Peaches, Gaga, and Prince will go nuts for Bebe's lush vocals, vivid lyrics and heavy dance production that could only come out of a voracious Scorpio like Bebe Huxley.
